Resumen

Rarely has philosophy paid much attention to journalism. In this article, we look at the contrast between philosophical reasoning and journalistic reasoning based on a parable that Robert Musil constructed in his meister work The Man without Attributes (1930). Plato comes to edit a newspaper in the twentieth century. After an exceptional welcome, the author of The Republic is thrown out of the editorial office. Here we have a phenomenological analysis of two figures of the collective consciousness: the journalist and the philosopher.
