Data on the reception and acceptance of original manuscripts and list of reviewers
Since issue 46 (2020), Tripodos has published statistics on the number of manuscripts received, accepted, and published, as well as the list of reviewers. From 2026 onwards, these statistics and list of reviewers will be published annually in the first issue of the subsequent year.
Tripodos would like to thank the specialists for their rigorous and selfless collaboration in providing evaluation reports for the published articles. The reviewers have recognized expertise in the subject matter of each article and a professionally accredited reputation in that field. The selection of reviewers is based on criteria such as relevance, recognition, and research experience in the topic of the text to be reviewed. Only PhD holders are selected.
Tripodos has its own database of experts in the relevant field, although we are always open to experts offering themselves to expand this database. Additionally, we also use external databases to search for suitable reviewers. It is ensured that the reviewer does not belong to the same institution as the author of the text being reviewed to avoid conflicts of interest.
The editorial team monitors each evaluator, establishing a quality process in manuscript review to ensure deadlines are met and anonymity is preserved. Reviewers can receive a certificate for their work upon completing the review, if requested.
