La disonancia pragmática en los contextos de recepción televisivos infantiles
Abstract
Social concern about the possibleeffects of children’s exposure to televisionproducts is based on the observationof the socializing force of amedia with a high capacity to imposeits standards over those of the familiesthemselves. This article aims todisseminate the results of a qualitativestudy intended to investigate pragmaticdissonance, or the inconsistenciesof parents when mediating theirchildren’s use of television.Key words: reception, TV, family mediation,childhood, pragmatic dissonance.La preocupación social sobre los posiblesefectos de la exposición de la infancia alos productos televisivos parte de la constataciónde la fuerza socializadora de unmedio con gran capacidad para imponersus criterios normativos por encima delos de las propias familias.
