Manifestaciones de la subjetividad en ‘Angustia’ (José Antonio Nieves Conde, 1947)
Abstract
En el presente texto pretendemos exponer cómo en el universo cinematográfico del thriller dirigido por José Antonio Nieves Conde se logra hacer copartícipe al espectador de la inquietud y la desazón experimentada por una subjetividad alienada, sirviéndose para ello de precisas estrategias formales que exteriorizan el malestar de unos personajes cercados por una realidad política, social y/o económica que oprime y coacciona al sujeto. La plasmación en el plano formal de la psicología del protagonista del filme Angustia (1947) constituye una de las características de la aproximación del cineasta al género. Manifestations of Subjectivity in ‘Angustia’ (José Antonio Nieves Conde, 1947) The present text intends to explain how the cinematic universe of the thriller directed by José Antonio Nieves Conde manages to make the viewer share the restlessness and unease experienced by an alienated subjectivity. For this purpose, precise formal strategies are used that exteriorize the discomfort of certain characters surrounded by a political, social and/or economic reality that oppresses and coerces them. The shaping of the psychology of the protagonist of the film Angustia (1947) at the formal level constitutes one of the characteristics of the filmmaker’s approach to the genre.Downloads
